THERE ARE NO CONTRACTS TO SIGN!
Upon your acceptance for coaching by the Victorian Dog Training Academy, you will be required to sign a printed version of the following:
Waiver, understanding and indemnity
I the undersigned, understand that attendance of a dog training class is not without risk to myself, members of my family or guests who may attend, or my dog, because of some dogs to which I (we) will be exposed may be difficult to control and may be the cause of injury even when handled with the greatest amount of care.
I hereby waive and release the Victorian Dog Training Academy, its employees, owners and agents from any and all liability of any nature, for injury or damage which I or my dog may suffer, including specifically, but not without limitation, any injury or damage resulting from the action of any dog, and I expressly assume the risk of any damage or injury while attending any training session or other function of the Victorian Dog Training Academy, or whilst on the training grounds or the surrounding area thereto.
In consideration of and as inducement to the acceptance of my application for training membership at the Victorian Dog Training Academy, I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Victorian Dog Training Academy, its employees, owners and agents from all claims, or claims by any member of my family or any other person accompanying me to any training session or function of the Victorian Dog Training Academy or whilst on the grounds or surrounding area thereto as a result of any action by any dog, including my own.
I furthermore understand that any amount paid to the Victorian Dog Training Academy for any form of training is not refundable and not transferable. I also understand that any images (photos or video) taken of my dog/s including myself, family members or guests who may attend, are and will always remain the property of the Victorian Dog Training Academy, and therefore may be used at their discretion and for any purpose. I also understand a minimum of 48 hours notice is required for cancellation of any appointments. If I fail to cancel an appointment that I cannot keep, I agree to pay the full fee applicable for that appointment.
