Joining Fee
We have a once off joining fee of $95.00 which includes our starter pack (see below).
There are no annual "membership" or "registration" fees. Basically, once you have paid your joining fee and received your starter pack, the only other cost to you are your lesson fees.
The Victorian Dog Training Academy starter pack includes:
- A Victorian Dog Training information disk which includes our popular "Dog Owners Guide"
- Training Treats
- Poo bags
- A comfortable heavy duty brushed polycotton 180cm lead with solid brass snap
- Training treat waist bag
- Polycotton slip lead with stainless steel "O" ring
The purpose of the starter pack is to ensure you get off on the right foot by having the correct types of training equipment and treats etc. available to you at your very first session.
Lesson costs
One on One
- $29.00 per half hour during business hours
- $39.00 per half hour after hours
The prices above are for private lessons at our indoor training centre in Fairfield.
Group Sessions
All Victorian Dog Training Academy group classes are by invitation only. Your dog must have passed it's basic training in a one-on-one basis prior to being invited to group class. Our group sessions have an absolute maximum of ten dogs per group.
- All group sessions are $20.00 and are 1 hour in duration.
Please note: The above lessons and prices are for obedience and general training. If your dog has behavioural issues (such as aggression) that need to be resolved, you will require a consultation with a Victorian Dog Training Academy applied behaviour counsellor, prior to the commencement of any one-on-one or group sessions.
Behaviour Counselling
The cost for a consultation with a Victorian Dog Training Academy applied canine behaviour counsellor is only $295.00 during business hours or $335.00 after hours.
A behaviour consultation is approximately 3 hours duration and further behavioural training may be recommended. If further behavioural training is required the costs are:
A behavioural modification half hour training session at our indoor centre:
- During business hours: $59.00
- After hours: $79.00
Business hours
Our normal business hours are weekdays between 9.00am and 5.00pm
After hours sessions are weekdays after 6pm, and Saturday morinings
